"We were lucky enough to receive an advance copy of Ron Chandler's upcoming debut novel, The Last Rockstar, and spent the weekend poolside, rifling through the pages of this sexy contemporary romance at a breakneck speed.

Full of twists, surprises, and family dysfunction, the taut prose and snappy dialog made for a quick read that had us laughing out loud and nodding in agreement with these characters. We also had to jump in the pool to cool off after some of the spicier passages.

Whether it's the topic of feminism, the relationship between Paul and Lily, or the relationship between Lily and her sisters, Chandler has proven himself to be that rarity — a male author who writes women well. The Last Rockstar is a testament to that, and a masterful debut."
